Search Inside Yourself takes an evidence-based approach combining neuroscience, Mindful attention-training and emotional intelligence. The program provides practical tools that can be applied immediately in life or at work. We start with a foundation of mindfulness, and build the core emotional intelligence domains that lead to outstanding leadership:

Our SIY program offering includes four core components:
An overview of the neuroscience of emotion, perception, and behavior change
Attention training to enable greater emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, self-mastery, motivation, and connection with self and others
Practices for developing healthy mental habits that accelerate well-being—including effective listening, generosity, empathy, communication, and social skills
Mindfulness and reflection practices that support happiness, overall well-being, and exceptional leadership
Two Program Options, Customized for You
Mindfire offers a range of choices for bringing SIY to your organizations:
Immersive Training Experiences: A two or one-day in-person or virtual training, followed by four weeks of digital content, daily recommended practices, and peer-to-peer support. Virtual trainings are hosted in 6 modules, 2.5 hours each session and can be spread across a period of time.
Introductory Engagements: Interactive Keynote address and a half-day workshop are also options as an introduction to mindfulness and emotional intelligence practices that foster clarity, purposeful perspective and resilience through change for leaders.
ORIGINS OF SEARCH INSIDE YOURSELF
Search Inside Yourself was born at Google from a dream to change the world.
It began in 2007 when a team of multi-discipinary leading experts collaborated to bring together the wisdom of mindfulness with business leadership of emotional intelligence and cutting edge research in neuroscience. What was born was a program for Google employees to foster the best leaders and teams, which quickly grew in popularity and impact.
The Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI) was established in 2012 as an independent nonprofit organization. Since then, Search Inside Yourself has become a globally recognized program and SIYLI continues to work with Google, as well as other corporate, nonprofit, and government organizations around the world. Mindfire is proud to be one of the few SIY program Chicago certified experiences available.
